I loved the DVD. Anyone who has fished the kern, or might be interested in fishing the kern can learn alot from it. I really enjoyed how it was presented in a fashon that people watching the video have a general idea of how to fly fish. I get tired of videos that spend half the time talking about how to cast and what a fly is. It gets right to the point and gives a great informational piece of the lower kern, and different tactics and strategies to fish the water. I learned so much about where to fish, the hydrology of the lower, and why the lower kern is the way it is. By far the best fly fishing DVD in my arsenal, and you can quote me on that.

Your video production "Sierra Fly-Fishing Volume 1" is truly an outstanding and informative fly fishing video. It is a "straight-to-the-point" video that clearly communicates the techniques without superfluous information to confuse or get in the way of the key points. Guy Jeans obviously knows what he is doing. He has earned a great deal of respect from the fly-fishing community. In addition, he is truly one of the nicest guys you can ever talk to. It is very rare to find such a combination these days.
The video and audio quality is great. Although the video is not in high-definition, the information certainly is. Even the background music is great.
I am relatively new to fly-fishing and have been on the water only twice so far. With the concepts and information Guy communicated in this video, I feel well prepared to make better choices and subsequently increase the success rate on future trips.
